FAQ’s

How much?

Our rates are very reasonable when compared to other cleaning services that use teams of 2, 3 or even 4 people.  Because we send one housekeeper to your home we can adjust our rates to fit your needs and budget. The average price per visit is $85.00.

What days of the week do you provide service?

We provide service Monday through Friday.  Most early appointments begin around 8:30 a.m. with late appointments beginning around 12:30 p.m..

Do I have to sign a contract?

Absolutely not.  We strive to retain our clients through quality and client satisfaction, not through contractual obligation.

Do you send the same person each time?

Yes.  You will be assigned a housekeeper and as long as you are satisfied with that housekeeper, we will send you the same one.  If your housekeeper is out for some reason, we will not send a substitute without checking with you first.

I work; how would my housekeeper get in?

Some of our clients give us a key, that we lock up in our security key box at the office.  We code each key so that no names or addresses are ever on a key. Keys are given to the housekeeper in the morning and returned at the end of the day.  Other clients simply leave a door open for the housekeeper, and others will place a key in a certain hidden spot for the housekeeper to retrieve the key once she arrives at the home.  It is completely the customer’s preference.

Do I need to clean or straighten up before she comes?

No!  Indeed not!  That’s why we’re here.  We are coming to “clean” for you.  Some services will require you to pick up and straighten up before they arrive, however, we don’t mind earning our fee.

Do you provide the cleaning supplies?

Yes. Your housekeeper will have all the cleaning supplies and equipment necessary to clean your home with her.  Of course, if you have your own special products that you would like the housekeeper to use, that is fine, too.

How do I pay?

We ask that you pay each time your housekeeper comes.  We accept cash, checks and money orders.

Is my service guaranteed? If so, how?

Yes it is.  If you are not completely satisfied with any part of your cleaning service, call us within 24 hours of the visit and we will come back to your home and complete the task to your satisfaction.

What if I want to cancel or reschedule my cleaning?

To cancel your cleaning and/or to request that your housekeeper’s services be rescheduled you can contact us by email at personalhomecare@yahoo.com or by telephone at 334-272-3456.

We ask that you please contact us at least 24 hours prior to  your scheduled cleaning, that way we will be better able to accommodate any changes to your schedule.

What do I do about my security system?

Most of our clients have a separate security code for the housekeeper, others simply turn the system off on scheduled cleaning days.
